Country House in Canada

A lovely Friday to you, dear readers. Let's go over to visit this house located on the hills of Erin, Ontario. Built in 1840, this three-bedroom house was enlarged to accommodate visiting children and grandchildren as well as the owner's six dogs. The design of the newer parts were based on the original stone farmhouse.<br /><br />For those of you who have many dogs, don't miss the dog-friendly mud room!<br /><br /><br /><img alt="" class="imagecache imagecache-photo" src="http://houseandhome.com/sites/houseandhome.com/files/imagecache/photo/top-images/galleries/1034127/Country_Home_Exterior_OC10_0.jpg" style="width: 600px; height: 506px;" title="" /><br /><br /><img alt="" class="imagecache imagecache-photo" src="http://houseandhome.com/sites/houseandhome.com/files/imagecache/photo/top-images/galleries/1034127/Country_House_Dining_OC10.jpg" style="width: 599px; height: 882px;" title="" /><br /><br /><img alt="" class="imagecache imagecache-photo" src="http://houseandhome.com/sites/houseandhome.com/files/imagecache/photo/top-images/galleries/1034127/Country_House_living_OC10.jpg" style="width: 600px; height: 689px;" title="" /><br /><br /><img alt="" class="imagecache imagecache-photo" src="http://houseandhome.com/sites/houseandhome.com/files/imagecache/photo/top-images/galleries/1034127/Country_House_Fireplace_OC10.jpg" style="width: 600px; height: 871px;" title="" /><br /><br /><img alt="" class="imagecache imagecache-photo" src="http://houseandhome.com/sites/houseandhome.com/files/imagecache/photo/top-images/galleries/1021589/_MG_6445_SUP_HH_OC10_0.jpg" style="width: 600px; height: 808px;" title="" /><br /><br /><img alt="" class="imagecache imagecache-photo" src="http://houseandhome.com/sites/houseandhome.com/files/imagecache/photo/top-images/galleries/1034127/Country_House_Ensuite_OC10.jpg" style="width: 600px; height: 772px;" title="" /><br /><br /><img alt="" class="imagecache imagecache-photo" src="http://houseandhome.com/sites/houseandhome.com/files/imagecache/photo/top-images/galleries/1034127/Country_Home_Dogs_OC10_0.jpg" style="width: 600px; height: 507px;" title="" /><br /><br /><img alt="" class="imagecache imagecache-photo" src="http://houseandhome.com/sites/houseandhome.com/files/imagecache/photo/top-images/galleries/1034127/Country_House_Doorway_OC10.jpg" style="width: 600px; height: 692px;" title="" /><br /><br /><img alt="" class="imagecache imagecache-photo" src="http://houseandhome.com/sites/houseandhome.com/files/imagecache/photo/top-images/galleries/1034127/Country_House_Entrance_OC10.jpg" style="width: 600px; height: 793px;" title="" /><br /><br />Photography by Virginia McDonald.<br />All images from <a href="http://houseandhome.com/">here</a>.
